To bring that sparkle back into your eyes.
To bring the light back into your day,
As you venture back home from you week away.
The thrill I had that I bought it on my own,
Working so hard to make you proud of what I do.
As you unload your work week from your car it arrives,
Curiously you snoop and ponder on what could be inside.
I peak my head out with a big smile,
As I make you wait a little while.
You open the box and view its contents,
with the biggest smile I have ever seen.
You lean over and give me a tender kiss,
that meant the world to me on so many different levels.
So proud, feeling accomplished I knew,
I have finally come out of the dark and into the light....
For I made you beam like a sun ray on a mirror,
As satisfaction ran through my veins.
I could see a silent tear in your eye,
I knew how much this meant to you dear love.
I got it for you,
For you are my gift sent from the almighty above.
I love you.
