Retirement- so the question now is will he give us magic for one more year or end his legacy as is. To understand what many people feel you have to first understand what the Packer faithful feel. Many of his fans are excited at the possibility of seeing their favorite athlete again. There are reports of early ticket sales due to the anticipation. After all Farve is basically Zeus himself in the state of Wisconsin. He has his own Club, Restaurant, even his own street named Farve ave witch you're only allowed to travel at speeds up to 4 mph in celebration of his golden number. However some of his fans have said that it is time to move on. Remarks are made that Farve isn't doing any good for the Packers so he should give it up. After nearly retiring a year prior to this new stem of controversy, he coming off of one of his best statistical seasons ever. Leading the packers to the NFC championship game where they fell short to the New York Giants in overtime 23-20. Outside of the Packerville Most of all football enthusiasts I have interview have agreed that he should hang it up, but for someone that embarrassed most of the NFL and its fans by laying a stunning performance, he tends to attracted a lot of negative attention even with being one of the most liked Quarterbacks the league has ever known.
My Opinion:
Okay.... We all love Farve, especially me, being a Ravens fan and all. I grew up on the guy. Packers have been my childhood team. I remember when everyone had the Cowboys or 49ers Starter jackets I was the only one with the grey sweater with a Farve Jersey over it. For that reason, you can't hate anyone that wants to see him play one more time, just to fulfill that selfish need to see something amazing. On the other hand it has put the Packer organization in a bad position. They have been preparing to move on for years now. Ultimately it comes down Farve. The Packers can't deny his return in fears that the city of Greenbay will be burned to the ground.
