The Legend of Maverick McCain - A Limerick Saga

Sheryl Young
There once was a man named McCain
Whom Liberals had come to disdain.
He crossed many aisles
And went extra miles
But still he no foothold could gain.

John added a feminine face
Thinking Sarah would enhance his race,
But to his surprise
It may cause his demise
Since the Left will give Palin no grace.

If a Liberal or Democrat sees
This rhyme which is just meant to tease,
They'll turn up their nose,
Compose their own prose
And try my good name to decrease.

Yo, Sheri! I'm happy you won, but I didn't even know the contest was over. Methinks I am somewhat out of touch with the times, now that the election is (almost) over and I'm (almost) home with Rover (as per my own limerick).
