The LG EnV Touch: Personal Review

Verizon Wireless has released it's new enV series cell phone, the LG enV Touch. This latest version offers a few new add ons that are quite impressive, like two screens, a 3.2 megapixel camera, and full html capabilities. Since the latest release of the Apple Iphone 3GS, competition is soaring for the best cell phone on the market. If you are looking for a smartphone that has a full keyboard, awesome camera, and a touch screen, this is the one for you.

Since it's similar to the Voyager, many wonder if it's even worth the money to upgrade to the new LG enV Touch version. Some feel that the new functions of the LG enV Touch is not sufficient enough to shell out $150 to $600, depending on if you get a 2 year contract or buy the phone without one.

Most cell phone users who use the camera, texting and website functions on their cell phones, are the first to switch to the new upgraded phone. My friend upgraded her new cell phone, simply because her contract was up on her cell phone; she likes Verizon, and she really likes touch screen cell phones.

I decided to take a look at the new functions of the LG enV Touch and found that the functions are worth the upgrade and the price. There are two separate displays, one is touch screen, and you can access all your icons with a simple tap of the index finger on the full screen. The second display option is not touch screen.

If you enjoy the art of texting, the LG enV Touch offers an awesome keyboard that you just flip open; it's like the mini-mini-mini laptop.

The camera now offers a 3.2 megapixel, and provides excellent photos for you to send to all your friends. You can even take pictures of your friends, attach them to their name on your contacts, and save them to your phone.

There is even a drawing pad, where you can draw anything you want. You can even save it to your phone or send it to a friend through messaging.

Your phone book, contact lists, and ringtones also offer extras. You can have 1500 people's phone number stored in your phone, a physical address, two emails, and five phone numbers for each contact person. Not that anyone would need all that, but it sure is available. There's 26 ringtones available and separate all your contacts into groups.

If you are looking for something similar to the iPhone, this could be the choice for you. It's an excellent phone, and offers the benefits of a full keyboard. A must have for the texters out there. The only downfall I have found so far, is that the LG enV Touch is not WiFi compatible.
