I never tell the truth.
It started when I was very young
And has continued throughout my youth.
I lie with such conviction.
It gives me satisfaction.
I love it when someone falls for it.
I love to see their reaction.
Sometimes they are little lies.
Other times they are huge.
I also love to spread gossip.
I make up phony news.
My mother and my father
Can't tell when I'm lying or not.
Sometimes they get very angry
Then they explode and get quite hot.
I don't really care at all.
I lie because it's such a cool game.
And if someone gets hurt by my lie,
Well now isn't that a crying shame.
So if you come across me
You better be on your guard.
For I'll fiddle with your head
As I play you for a card.
