The Life of Protest 6

Victor Lei
Everyone in the Walker Elementary School is angry; all of them want that Miss Ting, Danny's homeroom teacher to remove this so-call "King of the Chess". At the mean time, a small group of students and teachers is plotting a "coup d'état" to overthrow this "regime"...

All 5th grade students are required to take the flu shot this morning, of course that also includes "His Majesty". "His Majesty" arrives to the location few minutes later, every student kowtows. The nurse then asks "His Majesty" what his name is, "Bastard! How dare you treating me like this! We are King of the Chess! You must kowtow to us, otherwise we will consider you attempt to rebel!" The nurse ignores his "imperial order", "Okay, Your Majesty, it's your turn to take the flu shot." "OU~~~~~~CH~~~~~~ THAT HURTS~~~~~~~" A freaking loud scream that can be heard from couple hundred feet away from school, and all students are laughing, they laugh that "King of the Chess" is actually afraid taking injection. "His Majesty" doesn't say anything, and then leaves there quickly.

Gigi is coming to the school again. She takes out the loudspeaker from her bag, and yells "Today is my son's birthday; all of you must celebrate with him! Today is my son's birthday; all of you must celebrate with him!" All the students, even Danny's best friend Bobby feels that is insane. "What's wrong with Danny's mother?!" "She's already come to here several times. Every time she yells, we can't study under that kind of noisy condition!" Some Danny's classmates are now asking Miss Ting to think seriously that "abolish 'King of the Chess'", more and more classmates are joining the "Anti-King of the Chess" group, Bobby also joins the group, although he knows that may hurt their friendship. Bobby wants Bobby to be consciousness, and not to repeat the mistakes again. The best friend's advises are also useless, so all Danny's classmates decided to "overthrow King of the Chess".

According to the students' plan, several students do some provocative behaviors to "His Majesty". "His Majesty" certainly becomes furious, and scolds to them madly. The classroom bell rings, all the students back to the seats, the P.E. teacher Miss Hong is coming to their classroom. First Miss Hong tells the student that no P.E. class today because of rain outside, every student should study on his / her own. Almost every student takes out a book to read or study, the only student who refuses to do that is Danny Lui. "Danny Lui, Danny Lui..." "How come you don't study, you have nothing to study? Every classmate is studying." "Why should we study?! We are 'King of the Chess'!" "Okay. 'King of the Chess'! Don't you think you are a real king? You bastard!" "What?! You call us 'bastard'?! That's outrageous!" Miss Hong then quarrels with "His Majesty", some students in classroom are screaming. Exactly at the moment when "His Majesty" is scolding Miss Hong, this powerful, brave P.E. teacher approach to the "imperial seat" quickly, removes all chess pieces on that "imperial seat" and dumps them into the garbage bin. Miss Hong then returns to the "imperial seat", takes out the "crown" and also dumps into the garbage bin. The "King of the Chess" is overthrown, the "coup d'état" is very successful, every student in the Walker Elementary School is cheering. Many students and teachers praise Miss Hong's action; say she is the rode model of their school. Miss Hong becomes a heroine, but how about the "Abolished King of the Chess"? Danny is now in a big trouble. Not only he may not able to graduate from Walker Elementary School, the school board is also considering expel him...
