The Lighthouse And The Sea

The lighthouse
stands alone and
forgotten yet
it stays its post
guarding, watching,
the lady of the sea.

Peaceful, calm,
or serene, not always.
Her moodiness
reflects her sex.
She changes
with the winds.

Her breast grow,
swelling beneath
as she realizes
change is inevitable.
Anger brews
within her soul.

Yet her beauty
fascinate the soul,
delights the eyes
as the lonely guard
remains -watch,
surveying all.

Boisterous,
fun loving waters
tumultuous, tender,
all these things
she seems as
the lonely guard
stays its watch.

Well, I have never been to a Japanese Garden or a Lighthouse by the Sea. Thanks for another mental image and the thoughts about the relationship. I think I have a lighthouse by my sea. My Mom and Dad always watch over me from Heaven. Loved this beautiful poem.
