The Lisa Doll
Dedicated to Mary (Artme)
Knew that her friend was blue;
So the angel being wise;
Knew just what to do;
She found a little doll;
Plastic and dressed in red;
And sent it in the mail;
To cheer her grieving friend;
The little doll was perfect;
Born in the same year;
As her friend so lonely;
So a smile would replace her tear;
Just a tiny little doll;
That didn't cost too much;
Just a little treasure;
That her friend could touch;
A precious little dolly;
With dark brown pigtails and curls;
Like a doll she loved so long ago;
When she was just a little girl;
A kind angel named Mary;
Gave the doll a lovely name;
And sent it to her grateful friend;
Whose name is called the same.
