The flavor is not too dry, which I like. I have tried many red wines only to find they are too dry or too tannic. I do not like very tannic wines. I also find they give me a headache in the morning. I've also heard that if red wines give you a headache you may have a sulfur allergy. Drink a half a glass of red wine; if it is going to give you a headache, it will do so within 15 minutes.
The flavor of the Little Penguin Cabernet Sauvignon, like I said earlier, is very fruity and tastes like a mix of different berries. Because it is a little more full bodied, I like to pair it with meat, poultry, or pasta. You could also try it with hard cheeses. When pairing wines, normally red wines go well with meat. You want to save your white wine for fish or some poultry.
I also like drinking this wine by itself after a day at work. It is nice to have a glass to help me relax and enjoy the wonderful flavor. Also, a glass of red wine a day can be very good for you. The antioxidants will help detoxify your body. Red wine has also been proven to lower your bad cholesterol. You really can't go wrong with just one glass. Find a red wine you love and drink up!
I love the Little Penguin Wines. I think the bottles are really cute and colorful, so it's nice that I can store them in my wine rack and like the way they look. The little penguin is adorable, and the colors are bright and vivid. Normally you can get a bottle under $10, and don't let the price fool you. It is a great wine for a great price!
