The Little Penguin Cabernet Sauvignon: A Robust, Ruby Red Wine

The Little Penguin Cabernet Sauvignon is a ruby red, robust wine. The first thing I noticed when I opened the bottle is the wonderful aroma. It smells very fruity and like fresh berries. The scent alone was enough to make my mouth water. After I poured myself a glass, I swirled it around to release more of the aroma. I watched it as it swirled around to see how it was on the side of my glass. I like full bodied wines that stick more to the side of the glass. This wine definitely held onto the glass for about two seconds, which tells me it's nice and full-bodied. After I watched it swirl around the glass and sniffed it again, I tasted it.

The flavor is not too dry, which I like. I have tried many red wines only to find they are too dry or too tannic. I do not like very tannic wines. I also find they give me a headache in the morning. I've also heard that if red wines give you a headache you may have a sulfur allergy. Drink a half a glass of red wine; if it is going to give you a headache, it will do so within 15 minutes.

The flavor of the Little Penguin Cabernet Sauvignon, like I said earlier, is very fruity and tastes like a mix of different berries. Because it is a little more full bodied, I like to pair it with meat, poultry, or pasta. You could also try it with hard cheeses. When pairing wines, normally red wines go well with meat. You want to save your white wine for fish or some poultry.

I also like drinking this wine by itself after a day at work. It is nice to have a glass to help me relax and enjoy the wonderful flavor. Also, a glass of red wine a day can be very good for you.
