The Little Red and White Fishing Boat

Chris Stonecipher
I got my heels in sand and toes in the water

while peering out at that red and white fishing boat on that deep blue sea.

them trolling for that big silver tuna

in that aqua blue sea.

I hear that engine slowly come to life

as it motors away from me.

in that deep aqua blue sea.

Bye-Bye red and white fishing boat.

Leave enough for us in the sea.

Crisp, clean writing. I enjoyed this one. It is very sweet to have a picture of your wife and you.

This is fun; I can see the kid's face as the boat leaves.
