The LIttle Things in Life

Harold Dean Sink
She likes it when I hold her hand,
And when I call her darling.
She likes it when I open a door,
And when I call her friend.

The little things in life
Made her my wife.
The little things in life
Are beyond compare.

Handing over a flower
Or buying a dress.
Saving money today
For another to spend.

It is the little things in life
That open her eyes.
Those simple little things
Which she chooses freely to love me for.

She never has to ask for them
I merely think of before she does.
LIstening to her heart and mind
She is more loving than a dove.

The little things in life
Are not really why she loves me,
But because of the little things in life
She knows I hold her dear to my heart.

A massage after a workout,
A day at the spa.
What more can I give her?
"Nothing dear, just you." is her response.

This reminds me of my husband...it is how a loving husband treats his wife. Very sweet!

I think you should turn this into a country tune. It has a lot of rhythm and a great beat to it! I love it!
