As the plane landed, she was greeted by her sisters, they got her luggage and headed off to their grandmothers house in Grand Point Hills which was about one hour away from the airport. Savannah unlocked the door and as they walked in, they immediately thought of the small door under the stairs that has been locked for generations. The lock looked worn and their grandmother told them to never unlock that door. As the sisters, were starring at the locked door under the stairs. They knew they had to unlock it or they wouldn't be able to sell the house.
Zoe said, "I remember when I was little, grandma told father that the key was in an antique vase in the attic". She never dared to go look because her grandmother always said, "The person who unlocks the door will be doomed for life". The girls went to the attic door and climbed up the stairs. They had to make a path of all the cobwebs that have gathered over the years through the room. The sisters finally discovered the vase on top of an old dresser that was covered with a white sheet and a thick coat of dust. Zoe tipped the antique vase upside down a key fell out.
Sneezing, Belinda said, "Come on lets go, there is too much dust". The sisters made their way down the attic stairs to over to the locked door. The three girls looked at each other and Zoe carefully put the key into the keyhole. When she turned the key in the lock, the door flew open and cold rush of air knocked the sisters off their feet. All of a sudden, a thick fog came out of the locked door and the girls were unable to see anything around them. All they felt was cold air and as if something was crawling on them. When the fog began to clear, they noticed thousands of black spiders were covered on the doors and windows of the room. The sisters frightened didn't know what to do. The spiders were looked like they were breathing heavily and there was so many of them. The sisters noticed that the door to the attic was clear with no spiders. Sarah said quietly, "On the count of three, lets make a run for the attic door". Belinda said softly, "one, two, three". They ran to the attic door and closed it behind them.
Sara said, "What are we going to do now, there are no windows in the attic, how are we ever going to get out?" Just then, under the crack of the attic door, a black spider started crawling under the door. Zoe grabbed a towel and tried to put it under the door. "I think there are more, the towel is not holding" she said. Belinda and Sarah grabbed some other old towels and all three of them were trying to keep the spiders out. It was no used the black spiders were too strong for them. They were forced back by the black spiders into the middle of the attic floor. The black spiders began to build webs all around the three sisters. The spiders stood there like they were doing push-up and breathing heavy. They were moving closer to the sisters. Belinda closed her eyes, they were so close now, and it was no use. Then all of a sudden the alarm clock went off and Belinda sat up in bed. "Wow" she said out load, "it was just a dream". As she rubbed her eyes and opened them, there laying at the bottom of her bed was a black spider.
