A poem I wrote a really long time ago, like January 2009
Here it comes
The loneliness
Like water overflowed from a bath tub
I need something to sop it up
Sop it up before it drowns me
Now the water's gone
But wait
It left a canyon
A void that needs to be covered
Quick, find me something to throw over it
Oh no
Now it's become something else
Something that can be detected
The eyes give it away
Please don't look at my eyes
