The Lonely Days of Life's Fall

Years pass by so quickly--
Life's spring fades into fall;
With care plastered thickly,
We can't help feeling small.
We search the heavens for
Why life seems so in vain
And if there's something more
Than this heartache and pain.
But little do we know
There is a hidden Hand
That's never let us go
And truly understands!
As we walk through this life,
We are never alone,
For even amid strife,
To the Lord all is known.
And He is with us e'er
Sharing both joy and tears,
Cherishing each prayer,
And soothing our fears.
