The Lonely Man

Steven West
In the small town of Bliss,
There walks a lonely man.
He stares up in the air
While carrying an umbrella in his hand.

He wears a loud tie.
He has on baggy pants.
His moustache is poorly trimmed,
And yet he seeks romance.

His shirt is stained and wrinkled.
His hair is thin and gray.
The shoes are dirty and worn.
They've seen their better day.

And still he yearns for a woman
To make his life complete.
But unless he cleans up his act,
No girlfriend shall he ever meet.
