Atmosphere -
When you first visit the Longhorn Cafe, you're unlikely to be impressed with the exterior of the restaurant or the pavement. To be perfectly honest, it is a bit run down. The parking lot is only partly covered with asphalt, and the rest of it is made up of sand and rocks. The restaurant itself looks OK, and they recently replaced their roof.
As for the interior of the restaurant, it isn't in great shape. However, it could be much worse. You may have a lopsided table, the occasional fly, and it isn't the most hygienic of restaurants. So if you're the type of person who enjoys high class eating establishments then you should probably avoid the Longhorn Cafe.
As for the people who visit the Longhorn Cafe, they come from all walks of life. On the weekdays, you can expect a lot of construction workers and business people. The weekends are usually made up of families. You can expect big crowds at certain times of the day on the weekends.
It's not an uncommon sight for people to be lined up outside waiting for their meal. Even David Robinson(Spurs basketball player) has eaten at this restaurant; they have a picture of him hanging on the wall.
Food -
The food at this restaurant is good, unless you dislike unhealthy food. A lady once asked the restaurant staff as to what type of oil they used. They replied by saying that they used "hot oil". The lady still ate her food, though.
Burgers are the main attraction for this restaurant. But they also serve chicken fingers, fried pickles, fries, chips, fried steak, chili; etc. As for soft drinks they have all of the basics from Dr. Pepper, coke; etc. Beer is also plentiful at this restaurant.
Prices -
This is a fairly affordable place to eat. A burger will cost you around six or seven dollars, which includes fries and a soft drink. You don't need to worry about tipping anybody either because you do all of the work.
As you can see, the Longhorn Cafe is a great place to eat but it's not perfect. Don't eat here if you enjoy eating at five star restaurants, and don't expect the restaurant to be in perfect condition. But if you love burgers then you really need to give this place a try.
