The Louisiana Boardwalk: Best Shopping in Northern Louisiana

Coming to the Area? Shop the Louisiana Boardwalk in Bossier City, Louisiana

After enjoying the evening at one of the few casinos that are in the area, you may want to do a little shopping. Perhaps you have come to enjoy one of the many art museums or even our brand new convention center? Either way, there is more to explore in the area.

Head on over to our new Louisiana Boardwalk, just over the old bridge and to your right, you will find the entrance. Parking is free and there is plenty of it. Once you make your way up to the Boardwalk, you will notice that there are plenty of great name brand stores and places to shop.

Liz Claiborne's, Carters and many others, just to name a few. This is a great time to shop for out-of-season clothes and shoes, for the next year. If you are like me, that is the best way to shop for your kids, especially now-a-days. Osh Gosh is offering T-shirts for about $5.

There are other stores such as the Nike Factory Store, Perfumania, Bass Pro and Build a Bear. You will notice that there is also something for the kids, as well. There is a Kids Club for the little one's under 12 who want to enjoy free discounts and special priviledges as well.

If you are a local in the area, you may want to also enjoy a VIP membership where you will also recieve discounts as well. You sign up for a newsletter, where you will recieve an email with special offers and announcements. If visiting the six casinos is not what you are coming here for, there is more then just gambling. There are many attractions to relish.

Hungry? I won't have to visit up north anymore to enjoy Fuddruckers. There is also Buffalo Wild Wings for those like me who love hot wings. Joe's Crab Shack anyone? It's here as well. Then there is the infamous Hooters, IHOP and even O'Brien's Irish Pub and Grill.

You will notice a calendar of events on the website as well. There are expos for Earth Day as well. If you are a resident or a visitor in the Shreveport and Bossier City (or surrounding areas), please head on over to The Louisiana Boardwalk. There are over 60 stores and shops to chose from. Fun for the entire family. Even take the little ones on the huge carousel or the trolley. There is also a picnic area as well.

Just the two of you? Head on over to a movie or to the Funny Bone for a good laugh. Free pizza on Wednesdays at the Funny Bone. Got the kiddos? Enjoy bowling for all ages or take the to Island Fun for a day of family fun and entertainment. There is something for everyone here at the Louisiana Boardwalk in Bossier City, Louisiana.
