The Love of God
The love of God is amazing
A gift you can freely accept
The love of God makes your heart sing
When you might be feeling you have nothing left
Take that chance, and say that prayer
You may be scared at first
But the love of God is powerful
And with it you can tear
Down the walls of darkness, of depression and of fear
At your darkest hour, call out to Him and you'll know He's near
The love of God is amazing
A gift you can never repay
But make sure you share it with others freely
Each and every day
You never know who's life you might save
In a most unusual way
With a simple smile, or the touch of a hand
Calm and peace may make haste
And through those feelings that person, may simply get a taste
That life is worth living, that people do care
Simply, by taking a chance and saying a simple prayer
