what happened in the past should stay in the past-i know it's hard to love again, trust again and it's much easier to say let's just stay friends-but i already crossed the line for you-for your love i've already fell blind-i can't see your flaws and for you i'm willing to break a few laws, pull out my claws and break a few jaws-all in the name of love, the love i have for you

you're not the only one unable to let go of the pain-please try to see that i'm different from the rest-the last thing i want is to know your heart is hurting again-so for you i bend-i bend and lose my soul for your love in return-i bend and lose respect for myself because i become weak for your sake-making you feel more like a man-so all of the verbal abuse and disrespect you dish out i simply take-all in the name of love, the love i have for you

you don't seem to care-you don't seem to notice that for you i'm here-you push me away-shut me out of your life-ask me to be your wife then tell me you can't love me-now i am confused and somewhat feeling used-just don't know where i stand with you-but i can't stop loving you-can't stop seeing our future as one-when will i accept that it's over-maybe right now-most likely maybe never-everything i do for is because i love you deep-while you're over there still able to smile-i'm here a fucking mess unable to sleep-when i step back and look at everything trying to see if i have regrets i know in my heart it was all in the name of love, the love i have for you
