1. Where did you hear about AC?
I was browsing for writing gigs and I noticed a posting on Craigslist by an AC CP.
2. When did you join AC?
I joined AC in January of 2007.
3. Why did you join AC?
I joined AC because I love to write and I figured if I could make money at it and still be able to stay at home with my kids, that would be awesome, so I decided to give it a try.
4. What types of articles, poems, stories, ect, do you write about?
When I first started with AC, I focused mostly on subjects and topics geared toward parenting and homeschooling, but now that I have grown in my writing, I write about a wide variety of topics. I can write in fiction, non-fiction, and poetry and prose. Much of my writing stems from the desire to help others.
5. Who are some of your favorite AC producers?
I enjoy content from a great number of AC CP's because I also love to read. Off the top of my head, I would mention Pam Gaulin, Michelle L. Devon (MIchy), Dr, Jamie Y. Marable, jpsixbear, Michael Thompson, Dr. Kristie Leong M.D, theBarefoot, A.M. Morgan, jcorn, and Norman A. Rubin. However, I enjoy reading from many more people than I listed.
6. What do you think AC needs more topics on?
Actually, I think AC has great coverage in many areas. I can't really think of anything AC is missing.
7. Do you enjoy writing for AC?
Yes. AC is one of my favorite, if not "the" favorite, among companies to write for.
8. Do you think you could make a full time or part time living on AC?
I make more money with AC than I do at my P/T job, so I know it is possible.
9. How long do you plan on writing for AC?
As long as they let me...LOL
10. Where do you get your topics for writing?
I get my topics from watching the news, from living daily life, reading AC articles, and just browsing the web in general. Sometimes doing any one or all of those will allow ideas to naturally pop into my head. The ideas will generally be a spin-off of the topic I see.
11. Have you ever written for AC's calls for content and if you have did you like it?
Yes, I write them all the time. I think they can help a writer expand their skills, as well as their knowledge, especially if there is research involved or they are a topic not generally written on by that writer.
12. What are some of your best articles, poems, stories, ect, on AC?
Well, that depends on your definition of best. To some people best could mean highest upfront pay or page views. To others, it could just mean the content they are most proud of writing. For me, it can be both, depending on the circumstance.
13. Will you enter a link to some of your best AC articles? If yes copy and paste it into the interview?

14. What do you like best about AC?
That's tough. I like AC for more than one reason. I guess it would be the fact that I can both write what's on my mind and also expand my knowledge by writing on requested topics - and get paid for both.
15. What do you like least about AC Content?
There isn't really anything I dislike about AC.
16. What do you plan on writing about next and why?
For AC, at this very moment, I am working on a news piece, a parenting piece, and a holiday piece. I write several articles most every day. Outside of AC, I am working on several book projects.
17. Last Question! If you had any awesome advice to give to other AC Producers what would it be?
If you want to succeed on AC, write what you know and learn how to improve upon your writing by asking successful AC CP's The AC forum is an invaluable writing tool. Visit it often.
