Yes it is true the cold weather unfortunately breaks out your face. It will take out the moisture in your skin and this will cause pimples and other irritated flaws on your face. Normally regardless of what type of skin you have it could be dry or oily your skin has a natural balance, but in the winter cold weather this is the only time of the season that your skin will become very unbalanced, but like with most things in a world that's filled with so much knowledge there is hope. You want have to have a spotted face all winter long.

Using a gentle cleanser will always help with moisture in your face that is one of the best things to do in the cold weather. Never ever pick or scratch an already irritated area that is on your face this can cause the irritated area to stay much longer, and could cause a slight mark when the area has healed that will reside on your face for a period of time. Your lips is apart of your face and they will tend to be more chapped in cold weather. You can prevent this from happening if you wear lipstick often when you are outdoors or if you don't wear lipstick then lip balm will do just as well.
