A Poem About the Magic of Love
I long to feel your touch
upon my face,
See the gleam in your eye,
your sly smile.
We walk hand in hand
Together,special friends,
but more.
Days spent separated
are eternities,
yet we are never apart.
I know your innermost thoughts
And you know mine,
as if by magic.
Space, time and separation
have no meaning
In my secret box
of dreams,
I treasure special moments
spent together.
Two then becoming as one
Memories
That can't be erased
They are forever
Ours alone
to share.

Being in love is a wonderful feeling, and I think it still happens quite often. It's nice when those feelings are remembered since they tend to wear off in time. I think when a person really loves someone a spark still remains - even after they become used to each other. Beautiful poem.
