The Magic of Busch Gardens - Tampa

I had a wonderful opportunity recently to travel on vacation to Busch Gardens in Tampa, Florida. Busch Gardens in Tampa is an African wildlife themed amusement park. I really had no idea what Busch Gardens was all about before I went. However, after visiting I can now say that I found Busch Gardens to be a truly magical place to visit. Here are the reasons why I highly recommend it for others:

Zoo

Going to Busch Gardens is like going to the zoo. I love the zoo, and I have been too many all over the world. There were so many different varieties of animals to see. Plus, I loved that you can see the animals in all different kinds of ways. My favorite way to see the animals was to take a train that Busch Gardens has that cuts through the edge of where many of the animals are kept. There also are lots of animal exhibits and rides to take while being at Busch Gardens.

Amusements Park

Busch Gardens is known as being one of the best amusements parks in the United States. There are lots of rides that a person can enjoy at any age. There are the normal amusement park rides like bumper cars and carousals to ride. If it is a hot day you might enjoy the many enjoyable water rides to go on. Plus, coming this spring 2010 there will be Sesame Street section of the park for small children to enjoy.

Food and Drink

There are many delightful foods to eat and drink while being in Busch Gardens Tampa. An example of a nice casual place to eat is Zagora Café which is an outside veranda eatery. If you want something more upscale try eating at the Crown Colony House which I loved. It has full table service and a very beautiful view of the park. Plus, unlike some other amusement parks you can drink alcohol in Busch Gardens. I enjoyed everything I ate and drank at Busch Gardens although it was all on the pricey side.

Tickets

Busch Gardens right now has a great deal on tickets to get in. They have a buy one day ticket and you get into the park for free the next day. Basically, two days for the price of one. Also if you live in Florida you can get a resident ticket. It only costs a little extra for an annual pass. Since I live in Florida I can honestly say that you just cannot beat this current promotion. You can check the current ticket prices at the Busch Garden website or by calling them.

My Favorites

I had such a great time at Busch Gardens in Tampa, Florida that it is almost hard for me to say which parts I loved the most. I loved the train rides that you can take to go into all of the sections of the park. There are three trains that run through the park, and the ride takes you right through where some of the animals are so you can get up close to them. I loved the Rhino Rally ride which takes you in a jeep through the animal's habitat. I also enjoyed taking the sky ride because I was able to see the entire park from up above. The water rides were fun to watch and be a part of. Plus, it is the most beautiful amusement park that I have ever been too, and I am already planning my next trip back.
