The Magic of Jade

Jade is said to be one of the most highly regarded healing stones of ancient China, not just ancient times though. Much of our world's population has found strength and cures through the power of Jade in modern times.

Jade known as Yu in China has been hoisted by China's population through centuries, it has been given some of the highest honors and is said to add longevity and increase energy. However China's population is not the only one to believe this about Jade, many ancient cultures believed this too and used Jade in their everyday lives to increase their energy, make their life longer and induce more strength on to themselves.

Jade symbolizes five of the uppermost virtues: clarity, eloquence, significance, benignity, and invulnerability. It is said to bring good fortune, gamblers have used jade for years because they believe in brings them good luck, namely horse gamblers.

For weddings Jade butterflies can be released to denote love to the bride. In fact Jade is given as a 12th, 30th, and 35th wedding anniversary presents. Jade padlocks are given to children in order to keep danger from them. Jade amulets can be worn by a pregnant woman to ensure a healthy delivery. Jade can also be found in the production of many rosaries. Jade helps with many emotional aspects of many individuals daily life such as mentality, wisdom and the attitudes in which we all present ourselves to other people every day. Jade can assist with everyday fear, negative thoughts and help individuals to share more love with others. Jade is also used in the reduction of stress.

Jade comes in many different colors such as yellow, pink, blue, lavender, red and black but most of the time Jade can be found in either white or green. Here are some of the benefits of the different colors:

Yellow- Used to increase energy.

Blue- Used as an aid in medication.

Brown- Used for introduction to a new chapter in life.

Red- Used to receive emotional energy.

Lavender- Used to help heal a broken heart.

White- Used for helping to solve problems.

Now that we have gone over the emotional side of jade's powers let's talk about the health side of things.

Jade can be used for such things as a sore back or even a shoulder; it is placed to the sore spot and with time boom! It's gone. Many patients have been treated by Jade therapies when they have been diagnosed with kidney, heart, liver, thyroid, spleen, immune system and nervous system issues.

Jade is said to help relieve the pain of grief, loneliness and trauma and can allow for a full night's sleep for those who have insomnia.
