The Magic Mayan Riviera

There are few places in the world in which you can enjoy extreme sports, breath taking scenes, visit ancient civilizations, party or just relax lying on the beach. Well, in the Mayan Riviera located in Quintana Roo, Mexico, you can do all this and much more.

The Mayan Riviera is a unique place in which natural and cultural marvels combine to result in an explosion of magic that derives from its people, natural reservoirs, white beaches, and turquoise Caribbean waters.

Xel-Ha is a magnificent place to visit. Its name means "water entrance" or "where water is born" and is a natural area surrounded by water and jungle, home of hundreds of marine species and tropical fish which can be seen by snorkel diving in the waters.

Xel-Ha also cunts with several buffet-type restaurants inside which are available at any time in an all you can eat fashion at no extra cost. Apart from the extraordinary food, it has tens of posts with open bar service; margaritas, beer, and any kind of cocktail are also included in the access fee.

Another place to visit is Tulum, located over a cliff at the Caribbean Sea shore, and is one of the most important historical sites in the Mayan Riviera because of its history and its beauty. Tulum means "wall"; it was a fortified city which served as an important Mayan port for a commercial network that extended all the way to Guatemala. There are important edifications in Tulum like the ceremonial center, the castle and the Temple of the Descendant God.

There's a natural sanctuary called the Sian Ka'an biosphere reservoir, which means "the beginning of heaven". It is an area of over 130 acres surrounded by the Sian Ka'an reef. This sanctuary shelters mangroves, swamps, marshes, marine ecosystems, jungles, coral reefs and more which are home to over 1200 aviary, and 100 mammal species.

A few miles away there's one of the hottest vacation spots in the world. Cancun is famous for its beautiful beaches, people, and the night life. A night in Cancun could be magical with night clubs like Daddy O's and The City, but Coco Bongo is the most unique and special.

The Coco Bongo night club has everything you would expect from a top-notch club, but it also has a Vegas-like show that includes impersonations from famous figures like Madonna, Michael Jackson, Elvis Presley and more, as well as live-action shows from movies like The Matrix and Spiderman. The open bar service is great as well and the party is always on. It is definitely a must-go for people who like to party all night long.
