The Magic of Water

Chaz Wehr
It's the same sort of concept of putting food in the sink and down the drain. We flush it down with water to get the little bits of food all the way down. If not little bits stick in the piping rotting and stinking up the kitchen.

The same applies to your body but your systems needs more water to constantly flush out the toxins. It also helps to deliver the foods nutrients to where you need them in the body. It is very true that you can survive weeks without food but not more than a day or so without water.

It's A Miraculous Liquid Isn't It?

Take a look at yourself in the mirror. You are seventy percent made up of water. The rest is a mixture of protein and molecules. Even your cell, blood, and bones contain water. The muscles that keep your body moving and able to lift things are three quarters made up of water.

Only when you drink water are those toxins able to be released from the body and produce the proper enzymes that help create healthy hair, skin, and organs. The water also works to regulate your temperature, cooling you off by perspiring.

How Much Should I drink?

You've heard from school, mom, dad, doctors, and friends that drinking 8 glasses of water a day is healthy. You may pass that off as excessive or because you feel like you are running to the bathroom all day when you drink that much. So why is it so important to drink that much water?

Here Is The Top 3 Reasons:

  1. You need enough water to properly regulate your body temperature
  2. It increases your metabolism and ability to digest better
  3. To allow your organs to be at optimum efficiency and fight off diseases

To find out if you're hydrated enough or not you need to check your urine on a regular basis. If it's dark yellow and murky then you most certainly didn't drink enough. You want it clear, and as light in color as possible.

Starting Your Day

When you first open your eyes to the beginning of a new day reach to your nightstand where you should have a full 8 ounce glass of water. This needs to be done even before you put anything else in your mouth.

Rule Number 1:

Don't wait till you are thirsty!

Feeling thirsty is too late and slows your metabolism. You may notice feeling like one or more of these on a daily basis when you don't drink enough water throughout the day.

Back pain, constipation, confused over simple things, blurred vision, headaches, irritable, or lacking in energy. To make things worse here's some of the side affects:

  • Cellulite
  • Water weight
  • High cholesterol
  • Weight gaining
  • Paled skin

It may just be me but as a woman aren't these all the things that we want so desperately to fight off? I mean many of us go to tanning salons to keep our skin looking beautiful, avoid many food to keep off cellulite, and go on all those yo yo diets to drop the excess weight. Now I'm telling you drink your water! You'll find that many of your problems will dissipate when you drink your daily recommended amount of water.

So drink it up girls and watch your health and energy sky rocket up!
