Cayenne pepper is a pepper that is not only good to eat but great for good health. Cayenne pepper is a great seasoning for food if you like your food hot and spicy. Unlike many other food seasonings cayenne is very beneficial towards good health, for many reasons. Just to name a few cayenne can help with circulation in the body, gas problems, cramps, arthritis pain, heart problems and so on. In his article, I will discuss the many health benefits of cayenne pepper.

Cayenne pepper was discovered in South America in the early 1900s. Since then people have using this pepper for seasoning and as a health product. Cayenne is one of the most helpful and important herbs for cooking and the body. Cayenne pepper is used to help with the digestive system, heart, circulation and other body functions. Cayenne is full of vitamin A, C, all the B complexes, and is very full of organic calcium and potassium. Cayenne pepper can be brought at any food retailer but those may have other things added. When buying cayenne pepper make sure it's organic and doesn't have any artificial ingredients. The best place to purchase cayenne pepper is at an herbal health store. At an herbal health store you can get cayenne pepper in the pepper form, powder form, cream form, and even as a capsule. The pepper is very strong and should only be used in very small doses if taking orally. The capsule is a good idea for people who cannot stand the strong burning sensation of the pepper.

Cayenne pepper can be used in many foods to give it that spicy taste. If you use cayenne pepper in your food everyday it can be very beneficial to you. The cayenne that you use in your food everyday will be enough to supply your body with the right amount of benefits you need. Just using a teaspoon of cayenne pepper in your foods will help you in many ways. Cayenne pepper can be used to season meats, soups, rice, macaroni, tuna fish salad, and so on. It doesn't make your food extremely hot but gives it that nice spicy taste. When using cayenne pepper with foods make sure you wash your hands constantly. If you get your fingers in your eye, ear, or even mouth it will burn you very bad. If you like pepper in your foods cayenne pepper should be used over black pepper, white pepper, and so on because it is a healthful herb unlike the others.

Some health benefits of cayenne pepper. The first health benefit of cayenne is about digestion. Cayenne can help rebuild our stomach tissue and help our intestines to function properly. Cayenne helps the body get rid of waste and also helps create hydrochloric acid which is essential to good digestion. This is probably the most important benefit of Cayenne because our digestive system controls and helps our body function properly. Some other stomach related problems that Cayenne helps are gas and cramps.

The next health benefit of cayenne pepper is the heart. Cayenne pepper can stop heart attacks very quickly. If a heart attack should happen you should take a teaspoon of cayenne or drink some mixed with warm water. Cayenne is one of the most natural stimulants it increases the heart rate and carries blood all over the body. Cayenne pepper can strengthen the heart and increase red blood cells throughout out the body.

Some other benefits of cayenne pepper are using cayenne as a cream for arthritis pains. This can be done by rubbing the cayenne on your hurting joints and muscles. As stated above cayenne is very hot and will burn your skin so please be cautious. Cayenne can also be used as a way to help deal with migraines. Cayenne can be inhaled through the nose but this can be very hurtful due to the burning sensation of cayenne pepper. Cayenne also is used to help with inflammation in the body. Helping with inflammation can help the body stay cool and prevent high blood pressure, brain problems, swelling, and other similar things within the body. Cayenne also increases the body's metabolism which burns fat and helps people lose weight. For these and many other benefits I believe using Cayenne pepper can help us enjoy food and live healthier lives.

Cayenne pepper does not really have any side effects except for two things. The first known side effect of Cayenne pepper is that if touched in certain areas such as your eyes it will burn you. The final known side effect of cayenne pepper is that if used for a long time in certain people it can cause ulcers.

Cayenne pepper is a great ingredient for foods and our health. Cayenne pepper is a very hot pepper so should be used wisely. When it is used in foods, tablet, in water, or even as a cream it does wonders and performs miracles. I recommend getting some cayenne pepper and start living a healthy life today.
