The "Marlboro Man" Last Stand: Carson Palmer Do or Die 2010 NFL Season

Bengals fans and the organization are quietly growing weary of Carson Palmer faltering winning percentage pertaining to his playoff wins. Indeed the time is at hand for Palmer to deliver a Super Bowl, but it will not be an easy go for him in 2010, the Bengals have a very challenging schedule, and it will leave no room for error in 2010.

The Bengals organization has acquired a number of free agents, and they have brought in Terrell Owens to beef up their wide receiver corp., - and there is no denying that these players can help Palmer win a divisional playoff victory. There is no way that the Bengals can win a Super Bowl if Carson Palmer does not deliver in 2010, all will be in vain if the Bengals do not obtain the right to appear in Super Bowl XLV.

Indeed there is no crying in football, well, this may not be a true analogy of the game and how each Bengal players feel about their 2010 season, but one thing is for sure - the team is hungry for a Super Bowl championship.

Carson Palmer must get out of the funk; he must not have another 13 interception campaign in comparrison to his mediocre 21 touchdowns. If Carson Palmer does not improve on his overall ability to increase his quarterback rating, there may be no chance for the Bengals to win their division.

Even though Carson Palmer came back from injury in 2008 to lead his team to a 10-6 record, that year means nothing if he becomes the "Marlboro Man" who will ride away down that lonesome highway where people easily forget his name.
