The Meaning of Beauty

Eric Cooper
When trying to break something down,

You often just find yourself examining big things.

Staring at wall,

You might pick out the painting of the old English cottage placed delicately on a beautiful mountaintop.

On the other hand,

Maybe the chipped paint lining the doorway.

How small and simple it truly is,

But no matter how you visualize it,

It will always stand out, and become an aggravating sight.

However, the true beauty behind the wall is the person you can become.

To a woman on the street, you might be an ordinary man,

You might be an overweight man with hideous facial hair,

and you just might be prince charming.

But behind the wall, you can be anyone.

No one is watching you, no one is there to judge your every action.

You can be the millionaire with an amazing lifestyle.

You can be the baker with a successful marriage, but a failing business.

You are everything, and everyone behind a wall.

Majestic or distraught, you are every feeling in the world in those slight seconds you are behind that wall.

That is true beauty.

I'm exceptionally creative I must say. My sense of humor is quite over the top and bizarre, which makes my content show the viewer a new aspect on many issues.  View profile
