Easter is a time
To remember to be kind
Jesus hung on the cross
So that no soul would have to be lost
Though abused and beat,
He refused to accept defeat
He cried, He bled and He died
On a rugged cross where he was tied
He was laid in a tomb
And everyone thought he was doomed
He did not stay there
He got up with time to spare
He lives today
So accept Him and obey
Thanking him for being brave
So that the world could be saved
