This unique yet timeless restaurant will bring you an evening of pure ecstasy and all the ingredients to a perfect evening that you will not forget or find anywhere else. This restaurant is ideal for making a great impression on someone. And no matter what the occasion may be, they will accommodate your every need.
There are several locations in Florida, starting with Miami, Naples, Orlando, Ocala, Fort Myers, Tampa etc. You will also find this wonderful restaurant located in several other cities, such as, Chicago, Atlanta, Phoenix, Cincinnati, Philadelphia, Pittsburgh, and almost all major cities throughout the country.
Valentines Day is a special time for the Melting Pot and of course the busiest day. On this particular holiday; they usually have a set price, and a couple of different packages you may choose from. Depending on the location, the packages will usually start at around $150 and up. If you plan to dine here on Valentine's Day, be sure to make reservations well in advance. You should make reservations at least a month or more in advance for Valentine's Day, and a couple of days to a week for any other time. But always allow more time for holidays. And keep in mind, Fridays and Saturdays are the busiest nights.
The Melting Pot is an upscale restaurant that provides a unique and intimate dining experience. Along with its soothing and relaxed atmosphere; you will find that the candlelit tables and booths are very cozy and private. You can even reserve, a private room for you and your guests. And for your listening pleasure there is soft music playing in the background for that extra touch.
Their menu offers a fabulous assortment of fondue entrées that are literally cooked at the table by its guests, along with a list a mile long of the finest wine selection you can imagine. This is the perfect location for a romantic evening.
The Melting Pot's four course fondue menu is a memorable experience to say the least.
The first course offers an array of mouthwatering cheese fondues, which can be made from either a beer or wine base. You may choose from a few different cheese fondues. The first, being my favorite would be the cheddar cheese fondue. This particular choice is a wonderful blend of aged, medium-sharp along with Emmenthaler Swiss cheese, garlic, seasoning and a lager beer base. You can also choose the traditional Swiss cheese fondue, the Wisconsin trio, and the fiesta cheese fondue. Each fondue choice is served with assorted cubes of bread, and fresh sliced apples for your dipping pleasure.
For the second course, you will be served a fresh salad. You have a few choices here as well. And now we bring you to the third course, your main entrée. They offer a few different dinner entrées. Some of the entrée choices include an awesome mix of Tiger shrimp, lobster, teriyaki marinated sirloin and peppered pork tenderloin, breast of duck and chicken, fresh vegetables, and the list goes on. Oh yeah, and let's just say the filet mignon medallions are to die for. The main course is a variety of tasty entrées combined with special dipping sauces.
There are usually three different cooking styles to choose from, I highly recommend the "Coq au Vin" this particular style may cost an extra six dollars to the entrée, but it is sure to please your palate. This particular broth /bouillon choice combines a superb blend of fresh herbs, mushrooms, spices and a burgundy wine.
And last but not least, the final course is the most wonderful chocolate fondues you have ever tasted. And I must say you haven't lived until you have tried the amaretto meltdown. This exclusive desert is a delicate mix of white chocolate swirled with amaretto flambéed tableside. All of these decadent chocolate fondues are served with an assortment of fresh fruits such as, pineapple, sliced bananas, strawberries, and Kiwi along with marshmallows, cheesecake, brownies, and pound cake, and no visit to the Melting Pot is complete without experiencing the erotic climax of hand feeding your partner a juicy piece of fresh fruit, dipped in this luscious chocolate fondue. Talk about an aphrodisiac!
You can also create your own desert, using either dark or white chocolate and adding your favorite liqueur and toppings to create your own masterpiece.
This place is truly an experience in Sight, Sound, and Flavor.
To bring out the full flavor of all the cheeses, entrées and desserts, The Melting Pot has a huge selection of wines and champagnes along with cognac's & Brandy. Your choices of wine and champagne may include anything from a $20 bottle of merlot, to a $30-$70 bottle of port wine, and for those real special occasions, they offer a $200 bottle of Dom Perigon or even a $330 Bottle of St. Emil ion. In which case would be enough to quench the thirst of any of you that may demand the very best. There is also a full liquor bar, where you can get anything from a beer to a Godiva chocolate martini and there are plenty more exotic drinks as well. Along with all your nonalcoholic drinks and coffees, cappuccinos, espressos etc.
And if you're not sure what wine to choose with the entrée you have chosen, your server will try to match up the best wine for you, complementing the course you have chosen.
Although this is an upscale restaurant, as long as you don't go totally all out the average cost is approximately $40 per person for the four courses add another 20 bucks or so for a bottle of wine plus tip. And you can usually experience a wonderful dinner for two for under $140 and of course, it can go up from there.
You may also join the fondue club. This is a free membership that will offer you special invitations to fabulous events such as wine tasting, food sampling, and special events. You can also receive advanced holiday reservation privileges with this membership. And just for signing up, you'll receive a complimentary chocolate fondue for two, which is quite an extraordinary experience in itself, not to mention a great value as well. The Melting Pot also supports the St. Jude children's research Hospital in the fight against childhood cancer. Each year, the melting pot sponsors fundraising programs at its locations across the country and donates funds directly to St. Jude. The melting pot has come up with a new product called the chocolate fondue bar, which you can purchase at each location or online for, $4.95 and for every purchase; One dollar will be donated directly to the cause.
This restaurant was even recognized as franchise of the year. Along with a Wine recognition, and an award of excellence, the melting pot, has 100 locations around the country. So if you really want to treat you and you're loved one to an extraordinary evening of fine food, wine and atmosphere. The Melting Pot restaurant is the place to go.

Forgive me for drooling. I am completely sold on this restaurant now and I will not be happy until I go. This sounds like a decadent, luxurious experience meant to spoil yourself. I love it. Fantastic job on this!
The food and restaurant sound very nice - and way too rich for my husband's and my blood, lol. Still, nice to keep in mind for something special down the line a bit.

Excellent work BK. I'm more of a Ruth's Chris kind of guy, but I could give this a try on your recommendation.
