The Men of Friends: Where Are They Now?
The Current Lives of Matt LeBlanc, Matthew Perry and David Schwimmer
Matt LeBlanc
Matt LeBlanc is most famously known as Joey Tribbiani, the Italian-American actor who starred on Friends as well as the short-lived spinoff, Joey for 2 seasons. Since then, LeBlanc has been MIA from TV and film, leaving him forever immortalized as Joey. However, LeBlanc is reportedly playing himself in the upcoming series Episodes, a Showtime/BBC television series about a fictional British television series that's being remade for an American audience. In this new series he will reunite with Friends writer David Crane.
LeBlanc is divorced from wife Melissa McKnight; together, they have a daughter named Marina who was born in 2004. It seems that LeBlanc has aged since his Friends days (see a picture here), but now that he's back in front of the cameras, time will tell if LeBlanc gets back into shape reminiscent of his Joey days.
Matthew Perry
Although Matthew Perry will always be remembered as the witty Chandler Bing on Friends, he's certainly had no shortage of work since the 10-year show ended. He played Matt Albie in the 22-episode Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip, and has acted in several films, including Down and Dirty Pictures, which is currently filming. He is also a writer, executive producer and actor in the new television comedy series Mr. Sunshine, in which he will star opposite the acclaimed Allison Janney as a man who's trying to figure out the future direction of his life after his 40th birthday.
Perry has been linked to several high-profile actresses over the years including Julia Roberts, Yasmine Bleeth and Elizabeth Hurley, but currently he is reportedly single.
David Schwimmer
Since playing Ross Gellar on Friends, David Schwimmer hasn't been seen on screen very often; his most memorable performance in recent years was actually vocal work as Melman the Giraffe in the Madagascar animated movies. In 2005, he joined the cast of the film Duane Hopwood playing the title character, in 2006, starred in Big Nothing as Charlie and in 2008, played Ray Armstrong in Nothing But The Truth. His only television appearance since Friends was on another hit NBC sitcom, 30 Rock, where he played "Greenzo" for their environmentally-friendly "green" episode.
Where David has really been busy, however, is behind the camera as a director. While on Friends, he directed 10 episodes and has been directing both television and film ever since, including episodes of the Friends spinoff, Joey, Little Britain USA, Run Fatboy Run and Trust, which is currently in post-production.
But what has landed David Schwimmer in the news most recently is his engagement to long-time girlfriend Zoe Buckman and former Friends castmate Jennifer Aniston's apparent ignorance of the situation. You can view Jennifer's gaffe on The David Letterman Show here, which is reportedly causing a feud between these two Friends.
