Deemerf is a thinker, but his mind is not his master. Rather, his passions, and visions are guides, while he maintains the position of the Maestro over an imagination brimming with jazzed out landscapes.
Deemerf is mixed medium articulation, and Meta Mind (a term reserved for a transcendental kind of genius). He is truth, and principle rebirthed in musical skin, and lyrical heart beats.
He graced us with a few words...
Dazjae: Your style is organic, and blends hip-hop elements while staying true to a passion that the listener can feel.
It's raw and soulful, like its being spit from a warrior with a masterplan. What inspires you, and is it easy to translate into a sound medium?
Deemerf: Life inspires me. Everything I write and create comes from my personal life experiences or my opinion or views on a situation. Great art of different mediums also inspires me. The easier it is to translate the better the music. If I'm in a creative situation and it becomes hard to translate from my thoughts to words or to music, then the music becomes forced. Thats not what I want.
Dazjae: How do you feel about the current state of music vs. the Indie Scene?
Deemerf: I feel the Indie Scene is growing and is in a better situation than ever before. With the internet, anybody can show their music to the world. Commercial album sales are down due to file sharing on the internet. The internet makes the playing field level for everyone. Everybody and their mama has a label now. This is not good for the powerhouse record companies. I think these big companies are realizing that they will have to give something up if they still want to be a part of this industry that is shifting towards more independency.
Dazjae: Amen. What do you hope to bring to the spirit of ethereal (musical) arts?
Deemerf: I want to bring originality and integrity back to the music. I want artists to take pride in their work. I miss the positive competition in Hip-Hop. I want to bring the spirit of the jazz era. At that time, the artist knew that this was our thing. I just want to make it pure again.
Dazjae: Any wise words you'd care to share with the readers for use on their lifepaths?
Deemerf: Follow your dreams and your heart. Don't be afraid to let go. Holding on can stunt growth and maturity. Life is not easy for anyone. Giving up leads to death. If you know what you want to do, then do it. You have to figure out the best path to accomplish your goals. Be a psychic. Know your future. Speak your future.
Dazjae: Thankyou for your wisdoms.
