The Mighty Flea
In Florida lives a terrible beast
Not a 14 foot lizard to make you his feast
Nor a toothy finned denizen emerged from the deep
Or a venomous serpent to disturb you in sleep
An arm you'll not lose to his one viscous bite
But just try and sleep with them feasting at night
Your dog looks afright missing fistfulls of hair
The cats lost its mind like she is fighting a bear
Few things are worse your pets will agree
Because few things are worse than the almighty Flea!

I hate fleas but I would really hate to encounter fire ants.

Fleas are just nasty, we are having problems with it now. Both dogs and the cat have them and bites on myself as well. That led me to write The Mighty Flea, and thinking about the broken mower i have to fix spawned the grass it grows...
Lol, we have both Angie, nasty lil critters
My son thinks he has fleas. He doesn't. He saw a Spongebob Squarepants episode where Sandy the Squirrel came home from Texas and brought with her a flea.
I'll take fleas over Palmetto beetles any day of the week!
