The Mind of the Deployed
Loneliness corrodes the mind
Worrisome takes over
Limited communication
Makes time goes slower
Irritability turns into extreme frustration
Counting down the days
Takes such patience
Losing this comes quickly
As we lose our tolerance for nonsense
Deployment is the biggest and hardest of all challenges
Some leave family behind to protect all
Only to come back to find out that they lost it all
