Many electronic puppies on the market need to be controlled strictly by remote. The Mio Pup does a lot more than the other toys on the market. Rest assured knowing that the robotic dog knows how to bark, walk, talk, and even deliver some dance grooves. Most of us would be satisfied with just that. Luckily, the creators of Mio Pup thought that they could make their puppy do so much more. The result was the installation of new Emototronic technology that allows the robotic puppy to express nearly 100 images of its moods through its eyes.
There are several other cool options when it comes to the Mio pup. You will have the ability of knowing when your puppy is freezing or hungry. The Mio pup will express the feelings to you and express feelings of gratitude when you help come up with a solution. One thing that will excite parents is that the robotic puppy does not require the same maintenance as a real animal. You will not have to wake up early for early morning walks and will not have to clean after the puppy either. Plus, your child will learn how to be responsible because the Mio Pup teaches the child to take care of its daily needs.
There were several issues that I had with the product. My one big issue with the Mio Pup is that it just does not seem lifelike enough. There is not one inch of fake hair that covers the body of the robotic dog. The product would probably be a much better teaching tool the company made the puppy look realistic. Plus, children are not incredibly stupid. Most of them may be satisfied with this toy, but many of them will still dream of owning a real animal. Hopefully you will be able to explain to them the benefits of owning a robotic puppy first. Once the learn responsibility, you can then reward them with the real thing.
This is the perfect teaching toy for your younger children. The best thing about calling this product a teaching toy is that your child will not look at it that way. They will treat the robotic dog as a companion that they can do things with. As they grow older, they will grow a better understanding of taking care of animals. Most animals are brought into an environment in which the children do not understand how to treat the animals. The Mio Pup will better prepare them for future animal ownership. Check out the product online and try to purchase one if you have a young child. You probably will not be disappointed and your child will be happy to finally have a "pet".
