The Missing Part of Her

Patty Kay
A heroine of romance, the fair lady of our dreams,
An object of enhancement, dangling from his sleeve.
An indescribable depression generates within,
And sows the seeds of daring, unmistakable sin.

Alone she begins her walk of life, lamenting at fate,
She could not tolerate no more, she could not sit and wait.
Her position in the universe, selfishly she chose to face,
Will the missing part of her, simply fall in place?

One man loves her position, in society she plays.
One man loves her passionately, away from her he'll stay.
Freedom, she finds delicious, a morsel of her life.
Controversial strategy, independent strife.

The voice of the sea was calling, seductively it seemed.
The waves that invited her, their close embrace it deemed.
Will the missing part of her, simply fall in place?
As she leaves the impertinent trials of the human race.
