If you're a gardener then you probably have the Spring "itch" as we impatiently wait for the warm Spring weather to arrive. To help that itch, the Montrose Botanical Society is getting ready to have their annual plant sale which is their biggest fundraiser of the year. Gardeners from the Montrose area and surrounding communities are welcome to attend this annual event and help ease that Spring itch.

The annual plant sale will be held on Saturday, May 7th on the lawn by the Montrose Botanical Gardens. If you've never been to the Botanical Garden, it's right behind the Montrose Pavilion. The lawn separates the Pavilion from the Garden.

Refreshments, silent auction items, and lots of plants will be available during this annual plant sale. You'll be able to find herbs, annuals, perennials, and dried flower arrangements that have been donated by local garden nurseries or made by local gardeners of the Montrose Botanical Society.

Master Gardeners will also be on hand to answer any gardening questions that you may have about our mountain climate and plants.

This annual plant sale by the Montrose Botanical Society happens just once a year and this year it'll be on the Saturday before Mother's Day, May 7th. The plant sale is from 8 AM - 3 PM on the lawn in front of the Botanical Gardens.
