The Moral Compass of Our Country - a Godless Society

A lot of people are saying that our country has lost it's moral compass, I don't know if this is true or not, the reason that they say this is because a lot of people don't believe in god, or a higher power any more, and that would be the way that I think.

I really don't know if I ever did believe it in the sense that they are saying, I have always believed that if you treat the people around you with respect, and you don't murder, or rape people just for fun, you'll be alright, I just find the concept of an all powerful one to be hard to swallow.

I think that the people in this country for the biggest part are good, and trustworthy people who love their country, but have been duped by the powers that be who run our country, I blame it a lot on the fact that the people have become lazy, and complacent about politics.

I think this has a lot to do with the fact that as Americans we think that we should be able to trust out leaders and not have to constantly have to watch over them, but to this point they have proven us to be so wrong, and so I say it's time to pull the reigns hard.

Let's show these arrogant people who we have chosen to run our country that the people own this country, not the politicians and special interest groups, let's show them that the constitution still matters, and they must follow it to the letter.

It's time to take the power back for our states, instead of letting the federal government think that they run the world, it's time to show them that we are Americans, and that we care about our country, let's stop the schools from teaching our kids that our country is the tyrant.

The time has come to instill a fear for the wrath of the people in our leaders, we have got to start to do things for ourselves, and not depend on the government to do it all, we do not need more socialism in our country, we need more freedom in the country.

As the government gives you more they have to raise the taxes to make up for the loss in income, the government is just a huge corporation that runs the country, and companies have to show a profit to stay in business.

As they raise our taxes, we will begin to lose more and more jobs, because the companies that we work for will have to lay people off, or just plain fire them to keep their companies in business, I know this because I'm in business for myself.

Due to the politics in this country it's hard to remain in business at all, let alone hire more people, and the government can't create lasting jobs, only the small, and large businesses in this country can create jobs and that is the bottom line.

We need to take control of our country, no I'm not talking about a revolution, it's much easier then that, we need to weed out Washington and get rid if the bad apples, and then get rid of the lobbyists, and the special interest groups that are killing our country.

We need to control big labor, and the kick backs, and slush funds it's time to control the pork, and put an end to the spending, it's time to get some people who really care about our country in Washington, we need to get rid of career politicians.

No president can stay in office for more then four years, let's put the fear of god in to these people, it's time to show them who's the boss, I think that they are all corrupt on some level, it's true they are just normal people like us, and they can be tempted.

This is why we need to limit the office term to four years only, and get rid of special interest groups, and lobbyists in this country, we need to kill all of the things that have the potential to corrupt the process, and limit the temptation to to the wrong thing.

I do not blame this on the fact that a lot of our society are not believers in a god, I blame it on the fact that we are humans, and humans are not perfect, we do make mistakes, and we have temptation every day that we live, all we have to do is resist it.
