The Most Passionate Soundtrack for a Night of Romance

Set the Mood for Your Next "Us Night"

Debbie Henthorn
A night of passion never hurt any couple! Every couple needs a night of no distractions to just concentrate on each other to keep the fires burning. A soundtrack for all-night romance isn't just about "I love you" but every part of the attraction.

An evening of all-night romance doesn't start in the bed. It begins with just being together, talking a bit, maybe dancing around the kitchen or under the stars. The right soundtrack can segue from dancing in the living room to dancing between sheets. If things work out, you should be too distracted to realize the music has ended!

The greatest soundtrack for all-night romance mixes tempos and genres and includes something for everyone. Fill up your iTunes or burn a single CD from your collection in this order to keep the music - and you - going.

Joe Cocker's bluesy "You Can Leave Your Hat On" makes this the perfect song to sit and talk or start to dance.

"I Feel the Earth Move" by Carole King expresses my feelings every time my man looks into my eyes with that "come hither" look.

"Kiss" - There's only one version of this song that matters. Prince got it right - turn off the TV, "you don't have to watch Dynasty"!

Peter Gabriel's "Sledgehammer" is filled with erotic innuendo and it's easy to dance to.

"Let's Spend the Night Together" by The Rolling Stones leaves no doubt as to the intentions for the romantic night.

"Closer" by 9 Inch Nails is raunchy and filled with lust but the tempo is pure erotica.

Etta James' "I Just Wanna Make Love to You" is a much better version for romance than the "Bad Company" rocker and helps slow down the tempo.

Marvin Gaye really brings the passionate tempo with "Let's Get It On".

"Lay Lady Lay" by Bob Dylan is the reason I bought my brass bed.

Country super couple Tim McGraw & Faith Hill's "Let's Make Love" expresses the intention of this night perfectly: "let's make love, all night long".

"I'll Make Love to You" by Boyz II Men has the perfect combination for a night of romance - passionate lyrics and the perfect tempo and rhythm.

Dr. Hook may have made it big with some of their novelty tunes, but "when your body's had enough of me", "I'm gonna love you just A Little Bit More".

Billy Currington's "Don't" inspired this soundtrack with "you know I ain't even close to thru"

"Love to Love You Baby" by Donna Summer was derided as "too erotic" back in the seventies when it was banned by the BBC for the "23 orgasms" the censors counted. Perfect for a night of romance.

Sam & Dave's "Hold On, I'm Comin'" brings up the tempo with a simple reminder to both of you.

By the time you get to the end of the best soundtrack for a night of romance, you might not even recognize Led Zeppelin's "Whole Lotta Love".
