McDonald's is ranked number one for having the most sales time after time. They currently have 31,667 chains across the nation with total sales of 56,783 million dollars. Imaging how many happy meals need to be sold to make sales like that.

Kentucky fried chicken is almost everyone's favorite. They come in second place with 14,258 units across the nation and 14,200 million dollars in sales. That is not even half of McDonald's sales. They have a lot of catching up to do.
Burger King
They are well known for their fire grilled burgers. Get the traditional Whopper with cheese. The number three goes to the King. They have 11,129 units with 12,419 million dollars in sales.
Starbucks
Everybody loves the $5.00 coffees. The number four goes to Starbucks. They have 12,440 units with 10,300 million dollars in sales. However, they are going through some trouble in 2008 closing 600 stores.
Subway
Where is Jared? Always eat fresh and healthy at Subway. Subway comes in at number four with 26,893 units with 10,050 million dollars in sales.
Wendy's
Try the classic burger from Wendy's. Wow this store has been with us for a long time. They come in at number five with 6,673 units and 8,810 million dollars in sales.
Taco Bell
Want some Mexican food? Taco Bell is number six with 5,486 units and 6,500 million dollars in sales. Notice the pattern fast food restaurants are dominating the boards.
Domino's Pizza
We all know Domino's Pizza. They come in at number seven with 8,366 units and 5,100 million dollars in sales. I knew I should have opened a pizza store.
Apple Bee's Bar and Grill
Never been to Apple Bee's maybe next time I will try. They come in at number 8 with 1,930 units and 4,695 million dollars in sales.
Chili's Bar and Grill
You got my baby back ribs? Chill's comes in at number nine with 1,146 units and 3,730 million dollars in sales. Finally a casual restaurant made it to the boards.
Sonic
The American drive thru. Sonic comes in at number ten with 3,188 units and 3,121 millions dollars in sales. They do have excellent burger and shakes too.

Post a Commenthahaha why am i not suprised McDonal'd is number 1. EVERYONE EATS THERE!!!!! (even me), but it's fattening up america's children. Sigh, why does is have to be so damn good and so damn fattening at the same time. Life's never fair, eh?

A frw years back Burger King was in trouble...they were closing all their stuff in Missouri for a while there...I remember when i worked for Hardee's (Carl Jr's) I would see the statements for profits and losses in the different regions and only a few stores were ever really pulling a profit and not a large one at that, making me wonder how the hell they stayed a business in the first place

We have the first 4 of these in Thailand - I only eat at Subway though and only occasionally as I prefer to frequent the Thai restaurants or chains. Interesting article.
