The Most Romantic Movies

What girl doesn't love a good romantic movie? I think we fall in love with these movies, because the characters seem to have such a perfect, true love for one another - and we want it! It's just a natural thing. We live to love.

A great romantic movie would be "The Notebook," (my favorite) probably first on many people's lists. Rachel McAdams and Ryan Gosling have such a strong onscreen chemistry. The love story draws you in, and you feel their love. "Dirty Dancing" with Patrick Swayze and Jennifer Grey is another great romantic one. And of course I can't forget to mention, "Titantic," starring Leonardo DiCaprio and Kate Winslet. It's definately a classic!

"P.S. I Love You" with Hilary Swank and Gerard Butler, is a newer movie but an instant hit of a romantic movie. I loved it! (plus, Gerard Butler is definitely a good looking man!) Another newer movie I must mention is "Penelope." It is such a cute movie, one of my favorites, starring Christina Ricci, James McAvoy (a cutie), Catherine O'Hara, and Reese Witherspoon. And there's "Notting Hill" with Julia Roberts and Richard Gere.

Some darker, creative, romantic movies are "What Dreams May Come" with Robin Williams and Cuba Gooding, Jr., and "City of Angels" starring Meg Ryan and Nicolas Cage. Some more great romantic movies: "Legends of the Fall" with Brad Pitt and Anthony Hopkins, "The Last of the Mohicans" (surprisingly, this adventure film has a nice romance) starring Daniel Day-Lewis, "Armageddon" with Ben Affleck, Liv Tyler, & Bruce Willis, and "Braveheart" (an awesome movie) starring Mel Gibson.

Disney's "Beauty and the Beast" is a great classic love story, as is William Shakespeare's "Romeo and Juliet" with Claire Danes and Leonardo DiCaprio. Another great one is "How To Lose a Guy In 10 Days" (please see this one if you haven't already - It's great! Incredibly funny!) starring Kate Hudson and Matthew McConaughey.

"A Walk to Remember" with Mandy Moore and Shane West, and "50 First Dates" with Drew Barrymore and Adam Sandler are great romantics. "Click" is another good one with Adam Sandler and the beautiful Kate Beckinsale. It's a story about a working man that doesn't have time for his family. One day he finds a remote control to play his life how he'd like it to be. Consequently, it doesn't turn out so good as he thought it would. This movie gets you thinking about life, family, and love.

"Can't Buy Me Love" with cutie Patrick Dempsey, and "When a Man Loves a Woman" with Meg Ryan and Andy Garcia are great romantic movies. "Ever After" (one of my favorites) with Drew Barrymore is a romantic, cinderella story, and another great romantic movie she starred in is "Never Been Kissed" (You've got to see this one), and "The Wedding Singer" with Adam Sandler.

"Man in the Moon" with a young Reese Witherspoon, "Just Like Heaven," and "Sweet Home Alabama," both also starring the talented actress are good romantic movies. Lastly, we have "You've Got Mail" with Tom Hanks and Meg Ryan, "The Wedding Planner" with Matthew McConaughey and Jennifer Lopez, and "Bridget Jone's Diary" with Hugh Grant, Colin Firth, and Renee Zellweger, whose character is hot for the bad boy and oblivious to the good one. And if you haven't seen the movie "Something's Gotta Give" with Diane Keaton and Jack Nicholson, then you have to see it. It is so cute and hilarious!
