Cell phone manufacturers have been adding new features, taking away features, and trying to make cell phones more than just a cell phone. The Motorola E398 is no different in that respect. The new features of this phone will once again turn a cell phone into something else. Cell phones have replaced game boys, calculators, PDA's , hand held computers, digital cameras, and now the Motorola E398 may be replacing your iPod or mp3 player. It could very well be considered a media player with a cell phone.

Upon first glace, the Motorola E398 does not appear to be anything special. With so many phones having SD slots, cameras, and playing mp3's it would not seem to be special. That is until the Motorola E398's mp3 player starts to play, at which time the bass causes a vibration in the speakers creating a crystal clear sound. Making it even more special could be when the mpeg 4 video is playing you start to notice the incredible video and audio, and that the Motorola E398 is in a class by itself. While these features may not seem that unique, the Motorola E398 camera with VGA quality and flash should be able to impress you much more.

Of course, the Motorola E398 did not stop there with all the added bells and whistles it could have. The new Motorola E398 also added the rhythm lights that interact with your phone and surroundings. With any good media player, the Motorola E398 also added games that can be downloaded, screensavers, ring tones, and wallpapers. Even though many phones offer ring tones, with having the Motorola E398, you will be listening to them in 3D surround sound. Making the Motorola E398 the highest quality mp3 player with a phone, and with the 176 x 220 color display it will never have a dull picture.

The Motorola E398 may look like any other cell phone, that is until someone actually asks you to turn it up, or tries to get you to move over so they can watch the same video you're watching. The high quality camera with flash, mp3 surround sound, video playback, latest blue tooth technology, and the rhythm lights make the Motorola E398 more than just another cell phone. Of course being able to swap music and videos on the removable memory is another nice option. The Motorola E398 may be ready to replace everyone's iPods and mp3 players; the only bad news is that there is no recording option.
