The Movie ‘Courageous’ - How to Find it at a Theater Near You
An Indie Film by the Producers of 'Fireproof'
In my book, the making of the movie "Courageous" is another fine example of the kind of creativity that is demonstrated so well by indie film producers. Prior to producing "Courageous," Sherwood Pictures Ministry, Inc. made three films which are still available on DVD - I have copies of all three in my DVD collection. These films were "Fireproof," "Facing the Giants" and "Flywheel." Now I'm anxious to see "Courageous" on the big screen, and later to add a DVD of this film to my collection as soon as one becomes available.
Parents should know that this film is rated PG-13. Check out the promo material on the "Courageous" website to learn more about the story behind this movie and to watch the opening scene from the film.
Also on the "Courageous" website is a full list of every theater that will be showing "Courageous" during its theater debut on September 30, 2011. When I did that for myself, I was happy to learn that a theater very near my home has the movie booked.

I want to see this so bad! I posted it on my Facebook page last week. It's finally (!) coming to a theater about 1/2 hour away from us. The trailer looks outstanding. This is what I wrote on my FB page, "We need to support more cinema like this. The likes of Fireproof, Flywheel and Facing the Giants reached millions."
