Owen Cunningham Wilson was born in Dallas, Texas on November 18, 1968. His two brothers Luke and Andrew are actors as well. Many of us know this funny guy from such recent hits as You, Me & Dupree, Starsky and Hutch or Wedding Crashers. Owen's career dates back as far as 1994 when he was in his first movie, Bottle Rocket. Owen also has a few films in the works that have yet to come out. They are The Darjeeling Limited (2007), Year One (2008), Outsourced (2008), Drillbit Taylor (2008). As you can see, he has had pretty steady work since he hit the Hollywood market in 1994. Many of his parts were small in his early film rolls. His big break came in 2000 when he starred along Jackie Chan in Shanghai Noon. Owen Wilson has appeared in several films with his friends that many call the Frat Pack. This Frat includes his brother Luke Wilson, Ben Stiller, Vince Vaughn, Will Ferrell, Jack Black, and Steve Carell.

For all of his successes in films, he has been nominated for several awards. This is so weird. I knew who Owen was, but I didn't know he was born in Dallas (where I live) in 1968 (the year I was born) on November 18 (the day after my son was born.) Coincidence? Karma? Anyway, any word on this alleged suicide attempt? Might be worth a second article. Kudos.
