The movie "Limitless" was recently released to DVD. "Limitless" is a movie every writer should see as the main character is a writer himself. Bradley Cooper plays Eddie Morra in this movie with no limits. Cooper played Phil in "The Hangover" and "The Hangover II" and Doug in "Case 39." Robert De Niro also stars in "Limitless."
Struggling to complete his novel, Eddie Morra decides to take a pill that allows him to access all of his mind rather than the 20 percent usually used in the movie. Morra is told the pill is FDA approved yet it turns out it is not. Not only is it not FDA approved it is hard to get and when Morra and others begin to run out of this pill that makes life limitless, things begin to heat up.
"Limitless" is filled with suspense throughout. Imagine the perfect version of yourself full of stamina, ideas, and a photographic memory. This is the life Morra got to taste through the use of one pill a day. What happens when Morra took more than the recommended one pill a day? Well, we have to leave some mystery for those who have not yet seen the movie.
"Limitless" made $18,907,302 opening weekend in the USA. Shia LaBeouf was originally cast as Morra but had to be replaced after hurting his hand in a car accident. I like Shia LaBeouf but I have to say that Bradley Cooper did an excellent job playing the role of Eddie Morra.
The one thing with a limit is the running time of "Limitless". It does have a limit and that is a good thing as it allows you to watch it. "Limitless" has a running time of 105 minutes.
"Limitless" offers a movie like no other. It is unique, brilliant and has no limits (or not many). Watch the "Limitless" trailer and rent it if you haven't already done so. "Limitless" is rated PG-13 and won't disappoint.
