There are several other applications that provide the same function giving users' unlimited pages. Multipad, on the other hand, only offers 72 pages separated into eight pads. It is a good application for iPhone users, which really comes in handy when you need paper to take down the notes and you don't find any.
Features
The application has the following features:
Several pads (eight pad sets, nine pads each, 72 pads in all)
Thumbnail view
Easy navigation
Full screen use
Customizable color palette
Automated saving feature
Review
Multipad, simply put, is an application used for taking down notes. It provides users with 72 pads in total - with the pads divided into eight sets, several pad colors, and pen sizes. Individuals who want to create and store a simple list, or make a sketch or take down information in a jiffy, then Multipad may be of use.
Using the application is fairly simple. Any modifications made to the pad settings are saved automatically. Users can view all the nine pads within a set through the thumbnail display. Changing between pad sets is also easy - simply tap the letters under the pad area to switch to another pad set.
The built-in Notes application of the iPhone does provide simple note taking capabilities. However, it does not allow users to make sketches. That is probably the one thing that Multipad has that is not offered by some of the other note taking apps.
Some minor complaints are the apparent slowness of switching between pads, as well as the sluggishness of switching between different pad colors and pen sizes. The most obvious downside though is the limitation to the number of usable pages. The newer version of Multipad i.e. 1.01 involves a fix for saving line style, which could not be saved earlier.
Pricing
The Multipad application is available for purchase at the App Store for a very nominal price of $1.99.
Conclusion
The application's integration with the iPhone, its user interface, and its reusability are all average. The best part is that the application works on every version of iPhone and requires iPhone O.S 2.0 or later. Also, the features offered by the application are not very appealing. So, considering all the factors, the application gets an overall rating of 3 out of 5.
