The Murder: Caylee and Casey

Johnny Yuma
The beautiful little girl was reported missing one day last summer. The Mom said that the baby sitter hadn't brought her back but had kidnapped her instead. After a while part of the truth came out, and she admitted that the three-year-old had been missing longer than she first said. Still she wouldn't admit that she had done anything to her little girl Caylee. I don't think the police have gotten an admission of guilt out of Casey yet, but in the publics eyes she has been convicted of murder long ago--I believe.

Of course the jury can only go by the evidence that they hear while in court, but it will be hard to ignore all the things that they have heard on TV and read in newspapers and on the internet about the case when the case does finally go to court. I know that it would be extremely hard for me to forget all that I have heard, and in fact I am not sure that I could do it especially when I consider the fact that the little girl looked so much like some of my granddaughters. I believe that they would pass for sisters of Caylee's

If that family didn't want Caylee I would gladly have taken her provided they would stay out of her life. I know that my wife and I could and would have done a good job raising her, and she would still be alive too baring any accidents.

As it is Caylee is gone, and Casey is in jail awaiting trial. You see they found the body of Caylee in December and believe that her mom is the one that murdered her. From what the news people have shown us on TV that entire family has something wrong with it. Perhaps I shouldn't say that, but it is the way that it looks to me and probably to everyone else as well. I read somewhere that the police said that Casey's friends said she a habitual liar, and that the baby sitter didn't even exist. I don't know if they found her sometime later or not. I also read that they won't be asking for the death penalty if she is found guilty but life in prison. I think that is a shame that she killed such a pretty little girl and then she gets to live while the little girls body got creamated. I am saying that as if she is guilty, but in my opinion she is.

Thank you so much Someone's Sister for your very kind comment and thoughts. I surely don't know what type mother would do this to her child just like in the case you speak of. I remember hearing about it on the news also, and that woman in TX named Susan Smith killed drowned her two or three sons. I can't remember all about that one, but she did kill them, as best as I can remember it she locked them in the car and rolled it into a lake or the Gulf.

    Thanks again for commenting!

My goodness I blogged about this case on another site in hopes she would be alive how unfortunate. What kind of mother does this to her child? Remember the girl with Bi Polar that killed all her children in the bathtub? Oh What a horriffic thing if only she had taken medication for it or had a hand. Good article I recommended it.

I believe it has to be her or one of the Grandparents--possibly her brother, as they all seem to be messed up. She, however, is my first bet. Thanks for commenting Kathryn. I will be back by your pages soon.

What a sad story this has been to follow! Just tragic. I agree - the mother has done everything she possibly can to make herself look guilty.
