The Mystical Mountain of the Philippines

Mount Banahaw

Philippines was known to be a country with lots of Psychic Healers, Spiritual Healers, Psychic surgeons etc... So as when hopeless patients all over the world came to the country, most of them were looking for a psychic surgeon or psychic or spiritual healers. This things sounds to be good to be true. Most of them went back to their country of origins totally healed, some were not.

Reflecting back to this events, I came to a point; to investigate who are these people? I am talking about the Healers. Why they were able to heal nor cure hopeless cases that the doctors in the hospitals have told them, that they have only such number of days to live. Are this people immortal? Were do they get their powers? Why such cancer patients were healed, why the bedridden stands up, that seems their ailment was just a nightmare. I really can not understand especially that my aunt is a Doctor of Medicine, my two best friends were doctors and yet they themselves believe on this phenomena.

My curiosity brings me to study this people. Their habits, their beliefs, etc... As I mingled with this Healers I found out one great thing they have one habits in common they were all very PRAYERFUL. Because I was doing an investigation and I was a person who does not believe in prayer before, I just laugh it off. I continued doing the investigation but there was a problem that time. Some healers does not like any person who won't pray to be with them in the room during session. I was shocked with this requirements, and I don't have a choice but to pray.

I did start memorizing lots of coded prayers that they call it Latin oracion but in reality it was not a Latin words, so be it ...that was their belief. And I don't have a choice ,if I want to watch them heal a person.Prayers after prayers, prayers for every parts of the body, prayers for the hair, down to prayers for the toe nails, what a lots of prayers, I have memorized. A prayer for the right eye is different from a prayer of the left eye ...what a prayers. As I have said I don't have a choice but to follow their rituals and traditions. I thought I am done, for I have memorized lots a lot of prayers already, but I was wrong. For after those prayers, I was been ask if I want to continue my studies with them. As you know I have my goal, to know why lots of people believe in them and why lots of people were been cured so, I said yes, my reason was... I was already push unto the wall, I was already wet so why not take a bath either. In other words I did became an initiate of the healers. Here comes the initiation rites.... I have been brought in a very solemn place, lots of cave that each cave has each name and most of their names were places in the Holy Bible and I have realized that this place is no other than the Mount Banahaw.

Upon entering the Holy Mountain, lots a lot of rituals have been done. First, the place called Israel we did lit a candle and the ritual was ask for the forgiveness of all your sins because according to my PATOR(guide) if I will not ask for the forgiveness of all my sins, I may not be able to pass the initiation. So, it was really hard to do it for after that you still have to promise not commit it again. Their definition of sins was very broad that seems, I have this feeling of nothingness. In other words I did follow my Pator he then brought me to PRESENTAHAN( The Presentation)it is a cave with a very small tunnel that you have to pass from on the cave Name St Peter to the cave name St Paul, I did crawl there for according to the pator again if I did not unload all my sins at the gate of the Mountain the Israel I will be locked up there. Upon crawling to this tunnel only a lighted candle is our savior, the tunnel was so dark. i was supposed to back-out but I said to myself why now? I have invested lots of time and effort already, so in other words I passed the test. Next station was the Baptism in the falls at Sta Lucia. We have walk about a Kilometers, but the trick there was that, it is a cliff with more than 300 steps, now imagine the hardest part.... it is after the baptism when you climb up again that cliff....lol... The next step now is going to a place called Jacob well, this a small cave with sulfuric spring and water you have to deep there in that water, and that was the initial initiation after that you still have to visit lots of caves like JUSGADO(justice), Santissima trinidad (Holy Trinty) and a lot more etc.

Not to mentioned all the rituals, etc... With the caves.... and so on, Most of the Healers in this country really pass to this Mountain to be a Psychic healer, spiritual healers etc. this Mountain was really mystical every parts of the mountain were full of prayers and rituals. when one healers feels low in energy he just visit this mountain and recharge again. This mountain is the charger of most healers in our country and even some healers from Germany, Canada, Hongkong and India came here to recharge their power or energy.

But this observation were not the one who convinced me that this mountain is indeed a mystical. What convinced me was when we have a visitor from Germany that came here to the country to test the powers of our healers. I was assigned to be the Pator that day, when the final rituals for that day in Jacobs well was starting He was shouting and he was engulf by a very thick odorous smoke from his body. It smell like a burned meat and he was not able to finish the dipping, though he was scuba diver. He did it only once and that time I don'.t have the option but bring him up.

After that incidence when we arrive in the place we've stayed at, I ask him why he act like that and he answered me, I studied witchcrafts in our country and I am already priest there. So I asked him if he is willing to be cured and he answers affirmatively. Right now, with my last update about him, he now detached himself to that witchcraft organization in his country.
