The Natalee Holloway Case: Jawbone found on beach does not belong to missing Holloway

Aruban officials have just announced that tests conducted on a jawbone found on an Aruban beach last week by an American couple near the Phoenix Hotel, does not belong to missing Alabama teen Natalee Holloway.

The bone is human, said the Aruban Public Prosecutor's Office. But when compared to Holloway's dental records, it was determined that the result "excludes the possibility that the bone material found in Aruba is that of Natalee Holloway."

Holloway, missing since 2005, had caused world wide attention to her disappearance after a night of partying on the Island and leaving a local nightclub with Dutch playboy, Joran Van der Sloot. Although Van der Sloot has been detained twice, and given multiple 'confessions' to media, there have been no evidence or clues uncovered as to what actually happened to the teen. Van der Sloot was charged in the US with Wire Fraud and Extortion by trying to shakedown money out of Holloway's whereabouts. He is also being detained in Peru for the murder of Stephany Flores on the fifth anniversary of Holloway's disappearance.

Unfortunately questions still remain about Holloway, and there is another dead woman that needs to be identified. There has been no word on any other missing women that the bone examined might be linked to.
